I paint worlds. Each canvas that leaves my studio is a universe in miniature, landscape densely inhabited
by flowers, houses, people, and skies carrying memories of Brazil and my new life in Quebec. I work in the
naïf tradition because I believe art must celebrate the simple, profound beauty of everyday existence.
