Service Description
Would you like to learn how to draw faces? Or perhaps you’d like to learn charcoal drawing? Do you struggle with perspective when drawing houses? Maybe you’d like to add figures to your paintings but aren’t sure how to draw the human body. In this course, you can find answers to your questions about drawing. During the first session, students will share what they would like to learn, and the instructor will also suggest a variety of potential topics to explore. Together, the group will decide on the subjects they all wish to study. Once the group has identified the topics they would like to work on, the instructor will provide a list of the materials students will need to purchase. Each subject will be taught at both beginner and intermediate levels. The instructor will demonstrate various techniques and the proper use of materials. Students will then have the opportunity to put these techniques into practice during class. Finally, the instructor will assign homework, which will be presented for review during the following session. In this way, the course is unique, as the students themselves determine the curriculum. For the first class, please bring a Pilot "Fineliner" pen (or an equivalent) and a sketchbook measuring at least 9 by 12 inches.
