He began his career as an illustrator for CBS Graphics. His efforts and determination earned him his first contract with the Montreal Manic soccer team in 1981.

Carlo Cosentino has had numerous solo exhibitions in Canada and group exhibitions internationally. His work is included in the permanent collections of many Canadian art galleries and is also part of many private and corporate art collections. Carlo Cosentino uses his unique way of capturing light to depict the essence of Montreal in his own way. He takes viewers into the heart of the city to discover, through the seasons, the lights, atmosphere and daily life of Montreal.
